چکیده

Aim of the study: Karakul sheep farming is one effective subsectors animal breeding in southwestern region Kazakhstan. Sheep coloring a result genetic factors. Breeding can provide farmers with offspring desired color through selection parental couples. Materials: This research introduces an index method for sur-type proportion underfur fibers under 25%. Such provides 15.25% deeper within breed at 25.3% higher chance getting platinum shades. Methods: Platinum makes them less piebald. The inheritance quite stable and 55.66-65.66%. In flock, initial lambs which could be used coat making (elite class) was up to 8.72%. analysis heritability by Kazakh karakul shows that this inherited as dominant line breeding. share shades between 85.85% 87.27%. Results: difference trait groups selected according insignificant, 0.99-1.42% (P > 0.05). stabilizing introduced into theory allowed optimizing variability features level parameters. authors have proposed applied improve Atyrau increase their potential, apply various levels accelerate process. Conclusions: originally designed improving indexes will useful when setting optimal goals (fur quality) assessing parameters certain flock. study approved Ethics Committee attached Far Eastern State Agrarian University (Protocol No. 5 25 May 2010).

Genetic Polymorphism of the Melatonin Receptor 1A Locus in Iranian Shall and Karakul Sheep

The genotypes of the melatonin receptor 1A (MTNR1A) were determined by PCR-RFLP in the native Iranian Shall  and karakul breeds of sheep . Blood samples were collected from 60 karakul and 50 Shall breeds. Genomic DNA was extracted based on the Guanidin Thiocyanate-slica gel method. After PCR reaction, PCR products were digested by the Mnl1 restriction enzyme. The MTNR1A locus had two genotypes ...
